About Ansit.pk

A free place for students in Pakistan to practise chapter-wise MCQs, understand their mistakes and keep track of their progress.

Why we built Ansit.pk

Most students in Pakistan face a multiple-choice paper at some point: the objective part of the board exam, an entry test such as MDCAT or ECAT, or a public service test for a government job. Good MCQ practice is hard to find in one place, and it is even harder to find practice that is arranged the way textbooks are arranged, chapter by chapter and topic by topic.

Ansit.pk exists to fix that. Every MCQ on the site belongs to a chapter and a topic of a real syllabus, carries a difficulty level, and (almost always) comes with a short explanation, so that a wrong answer becomes something you can learn from instead of just a red mark.

What you can do here

  • Practice a topic, chapter or subject one MCQ at a time. If you have an account, the site remembers where you stopped and you can continue later, even on another device.
  • Take timed tests and mixed mock tests to see how you perform under exam conditions.
  • Master a topic with Mastery mode, which brings back the MCQs you got wrong until you have cleared every one, and gives you a certificate when you finish.
  • Filter by difficulty (easy, medium, hard). Past-paper MCQs show the year of the paper.
  • Report a mistake. If an MCQ looks wrong, signed-in students can flag it with one click and our team reviews it.

What is covered

  • Board classes: 9th Class, 10th Class, 1st Year and 2nd Year, for the Federal Board (FBISE) and Punjab board syllabi, in the core subjects of each class.
  • Entry tests: MDCAT and ECAT.
  • Public service tests: PPSC, FPSC, KPPSC, BPSC and SPSC style MCQs in general knowledge, Pakistan studies, everyday science, basic mathematics, English, Islamic studies and computer.

The site grows steadily. Some subjects and chapters have many more MCQs than others, and a few are still being written; where a chapter has no MCQs yet, the page says โ€œcoming soonโ€ instead of pretending.

How our MCQs are made

We believe you should know where a question comes from, so we are open about it. Chapters and topics follow the official textbooks and syllabi. Many MCQs are written with the help of software and AI tools, then checked automatically for formatting problems, repeated questions and inconsistent answer options. Others are model-paper or past-paper questions, or were written by subject specialists. MCQs taken from past papers are marked with the year of the paper.

AI-assisted content can contain mistakes. We review and correct what students report, but you should always check important facts, formulas and definitions against your textbook, and follow the guidance of your teacher and your board.

Our principles

  • Free to practise. You never need to pay to use the MCQs. An account is optional and free.
  • Honest about quality. We label sources, we fix errors when we are told about them, and we do not promise exam results.
  • Respect for your privacy. We collect only what the site needs to work. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
  • Independent. Ansit.pk is not run by, and is not affiliated with, any education board, university or commission. See the Disclaimer.

How the site is paid for

Running a website costs money. To keep practice free for students, Ansit.pk may show advertisements provided by Google AdSense. We keep ads away from the question and answer buttons, and ads never change the content of an MCQ. You can read how advertising cookies work, and how to turn off personalised ads, in our Cookie Policy.
